Our humanizing purpose

 

Memoscopio’s purpose is to help give a humanizing direction to today’s global crisis and inevitable transformations.  We believe that documenting, studying and promoting nonviolence can help us, our collaborators and audience  overcome pain and suffering, learn without limits, and love the reality they build. The project is inspired in Universalist Humanism and the humanist movement. In our work, we hope to explore a humanist sensibility that:

• holds the human being as the central value and concern,
• affirms the equality of all human beings,
• celebrates personal and cultural diversity,
• seeks the development of knowledge beyond what is accepted as truth,
• upholds freedom of ideas and beliefs, and
• rejects all forms of violence.
